BTI was birthed so that I could reach as many young ladies as possible and afford them the assistance that I did not receive as a young lady. As a woman who has dealt with past mental issues and thoughts of suicide, I decided to use my pain and fight back. I ran away from home after I was sexually abused, and I found myself on the streets at an early  age. BTI will provide resources and assistance to outreach programs for runaway teens.
